Adult Satirical Literature

Plots, Part II is a Jay Dubya acronym that represents a compilation of certain famous works by authors Edgar Allan Poe, Jack London, O. Henry, Mark Twain and William Shakespeare. Every good story indeed has a plot, or an essential problem (or problems) that must be solved. The problem can either be a direct physical threat, or an imagined mental/emotional crisis existing within the main character's mind, or perhaps the problem is represented by various combinations of those separate elements. In any case, the main problem must be addressed and/or especially solved during the story.

The particular famous stories selected by the author have been uniquely corrupted and then creatively rewritten into adult satirical style, where Jay Dubya effectively uses adult language and situations, thus adroitly modifying the general integrity of the original works.

Google: Jay Dubya, books

The poet/bard Homer, reputed to have been blind, is credited with orally describing the Iliad (the story of the end of the ten-year Trojan War), and the Odyssey, the epic tale of the Greek hero Odysseus, who had been punished by Poseidon (Neptune, the sea god) for ten-long-years after the Trojan War. Homer had lived during the time when alphabets and writing were being developed (around 1,000 BC), so his epic poems were later recorded by educated scribes, and both stories exist today in their present forms.

Around 1184 BC, King Agamemnon of Mycenae, and his brother, King Menelaus of Sparta, had led the great expedition of a thousand Greek ships and 50,000 warriors against the Asia Minor city of Troy. The kings of the Greek city states were notorious pirates and marauders, but to glamorize their siege upon Troy, a mythological story involving Helen of Sparta, wife of King Menelaus, claimed that she had been wooed by Prince Paris of Troy to elope to Asia Minor. Thus, Helen of Sparta soon became Helen of Troy, and her abduction became the principal cause of the Trojan War.

The Trojan War had taken almost ten-long-years to fight, and the lengthy conflict was finally won when Odysseus, a brilliant schemer and ball-breaker, had a magnificent Wooden Trojan Horse built, and then had the Greek warriors situate the structure outside the main gates of Troy. The city was strategically located at the Hellespont Channel between Greece and Persia (now Turkey). Greek heroes were hidden inside the stomach of the colossal horse, and during the night, the warriors stealthily climbed-down a rope, opened the gates to Troy, and allowed thousands of Greek warriors to enter, rampage, sack and plunder. The Trojan War was fought during the late Bronze Age, which according to historical records, was around 1184 BC.

Homer's Ill Iliad & Odd Sea Odyssey is adult satirical literature featuring adult situations and adult-oriented language, The humorous work (420 pages) is available at online Amazon, Walmart, Barnes and Noble, Books-a-Million, Powell's, and at other major Internet buying portals.

Googlr: Jay Dubya, books

Charles Dickens (1812-1870) spent most of his life in London and hadn't the foggiest notion why the hell he had ever done so. Dickens had a horrible childhood. His father had financial debts, so the government gave young Charles "the dick ends" by making his father live in poorhouses and workhouses, but fortunately not inside any government whorehouses. Dickens' terrible exposure to poverty later made him a literary crusader advocating for social justice. Such novels as David Copperfield and Oliver Twist reflect Charles Dickens's tremendous empathy for impoverished urban British children, along with their exploitation by the unsympathetic, apathetic adult industrial world.

Later in life, Dickens edited a magazine; was an amateur thespian, but the writer was not known to frequently associate with professional lesbians. The quite distinguished author gave many readings of his works throughout Europe, and even did so while touring slums in the United States. The British literary giant was a contemporary of the great Mark Twain, and the two eminent men did meet, although Dickens was much older during the height of their fames.

Some of Charles Dickens' famous novels and books are A Tale of Two Cities, Great Expectations, and The Pickwick Papers. One of his most popular short fiction works had first been published in 1843 and was titled "A Christmas Carol", which featured a great character transformation in the personality of Ebenezer Scrooge from an old curmudgeon to a kind and loving benefactor. The story had been written in four sections known as "Staves", and here is a parody re-write of "A Christmas Carol."

A Christmas Carol is Jay Dubya's 69th published book. Besides Adult Satire, the prolific author writes in seven other separate genres being: Action/Adventure Novels, Non-Fiction Books, Mythology, Science-Fiction, Detective Stories, Paranormal Short Stories, and Young Adult Fantasy Novels.

Google; Jay Dubya, books

The Arcane Arcade is a collection of sixteen short fiction stories. The general theme of the book is paranormal experience, and the tales are presented as short stories, novellas and novelettes. The stories have been rewritten and edited many times until they have evolved into their finished form.

The characters and events depicted in The Arcane Arcade are strictly the products of the authors’ imaginations. Any resemblance to any real person or persons is absolutely coincidental, and it is the hope of the authors that readers will appreciate the pure fantasy identities, personalities and plots in the sixteen fictional works.

Authors: Jay Dubya, Leonard Streitfeld

War of the Worlds is adult satirical literature featuring adult language and adult situations. The setting is Maybury Hill, a suburb of London, England, around 1894, just before the turn of a new century, and also, right during the exciting advances of modern science and technology, which were dominant in the minds of people throughout the Western World.

Herbert George Wells (1866-1946) was born in England, and by the turn of the twentieth century, became one of the Founding Fathers of science fiction. Wells' most famous novels are The Time Machine, War of the Worlds and The Invisible Man, which were written and published between 1895 and 1905.

H.G. Wells was a great student of history, and loved thinking about mankind's ultimate destiny. In his classic stories, Wells often tells through his characters what he believes is wrong with civilization, so that's why the author never ran out of characters for his popular novels.

By mentally taking his readers into the future, Herbert George Wells skillfully demonstrates exactly where the human race would be evolving unless science, culture, and emotional growth would change their present courses. Herein lies a new adult-oriented satirical version of H.G. Wells' famous short novel, War of the Worlds.

"The Great Teen Fruit War, A 1960' Novel" is author Jay Dubya's eighth e-book. The story takes place in Hammonton, New Jersey, an agricultural community midway between Philadelphia and Atlantic City. The Blues wear blue denim button-down waist-length jackets and are the sons of wealthy blueberry growers. The Reds wear James Dean' red zip-up jackets and are the sons of peach farmers. Bellevue Avenue in the center of town is the dividing line that separates blueberry country to the east and peach territory to the west."The Great Teen Fruit War" is a story for anyone who loves '50s and '60s teen culture. Romance, racial discrimination and conflict between the Reds and the Blues mix into a "coming of age" story that blends humor with drama, suspense and surprise into an action-packed adventure. Throw the town' greasers "The Ramrodders" into the conflict and events heat up in a hurry as the three highly volatile gangs interact. When Goose Restuccio, the son of a Mafia kingpin joins the Reds he challenges Gabe Gillette, the leader of the rich-kid Blues. Goose's father's hit men get involved in some clever pranks played on the Blues, and the blueberry kids retaliate with deceptive tricks of their own. Soon strife escalates into violence. Goose is captured by Blues and then forced to rape a black girl, and after Crystal Davis becomes pregnant, her black friends ally with the Reds against a coalition of Blues and Ramrodders. The "Great Teen Fruit War" is the exciting sequel to "Black Leather and Blue Denim, A '50s Novel."
